Shubham Banerjee,13 year old Indian origin young kid studying in 8th grade has launched a company to develop low cost printing machine to print Brailee,the machine writing system for the visually impaired(blind). Shubham banerjee designed braigo the machine in January 2014 as a Science Fair project.
The question which arised in his mind "How do Blind People read" made this young teen to browse the internet to find out.The cost of a Brailee printer which costs around $2000 shocked this genius and made him think there should be some simpler way to do this.Shubham built the machine with the help of LEGO MINDSTROMS EV3 kit.
He started a company calld Braigo Labs and wants to develop a Desktop Braille printer that would cost around $350 and weighs much lighter than now available.
