Centuries Old Stolen Buddha statue to be returned back to India By Australia.

The Growing relationship between Australia and India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Mr Tony Abbot,is set to bring an age old Indian statue back to our country.
About seven years ago the Kushan Buddha surfaced in Canberra National gallery Of art which led to an International art Scandal.

Mr Tony Abbott has many times stated that  improving India-Australian relationship is on his top list and one way he reached it was returning back the stolen artifacts that belonged to India. Last year during the summit meet with Modi Ji,Australia has returned 11th century artefacts of Shiva and Ardhanarishwara  to India.

Australian authorities have informed Indian authorities that it will soon return the artefact Of Buddha dating to 2nd century BC to india after realising that it had been stolen from an Archaelogical site in India.
